Ability to Import Photo in Albums from Top Providers like Google Photos

To pitch Monument 2 as a replacement for Google Photos but have no viable way to migrate Google Photos Albums along with Pictures is a big miss...

Could a import method be built that imported Google Photo's data from the Google Takeout download file structure that provides pictures in folders with metadata for individual pics and the folder in JSON files?
